Our School

Our Mission

At WVLC, we believe that play is a child’s work and serves as the foundation for meaningful academic learning. Our mission is to provide developmentally appropriate experiences that meet each child’s unique needs, promote positive self-esteem, and stimulate learning across all developmental domains. Through a strong partnership between teachers and families, WVLC creates an engaging, supportive environment in which every child can thrive and build the skills necessary for future educational success.

Our Vision

The West Valley Learning Center (WVLC) staff is dedicated to providing a high-quality early childhood education within a nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment. As the home of the Tiny Tigers, WVLC promotes three essential character traits—Responsibility, Kindness, and Safety—which serve as the foundation for positive school culture and social-emotional development. The school is committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to develop strong character, build foundational academic skills, and experience success in all areas of early learning. WVLC values each child’s individuality and works collaboratively with families, community partners, and school personnel to support the physical, cognitive, social, language, and emotional growth of all students. These collective efforts help prepare young learners for future academic achievement and lifelong success.
