Our Mission 

We recognize that play is a child's work and through play a foundation for academic learning can be built. Our teachers work in partnership with parents providing experiences meeting the needs of children by building positive self-esteem and targeting learning in all developmental areas.

 

Patterson Joint Unified School District is proud to offer both Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten here at West Valley Learning Center. We are enthusiastic about your interest in our school's educational programs and believe you will find a high quality learning experience within our district. As these are some of the most important years for your child’s growth and development, we look forward to having you as a partner. Together, we will build a solid foundation for your child’s future. Parents are encouraged and welcome to visit our programs at any time. We are here to support you and your child the best we can. We work to empower children, promote individuality, and create an environment that helps young children attain physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and language achievement. Every family in our program brings a history of life experience and cultural heritage that is respected and valued within our school.
